Hi Everyone

I am experienced in Sales, Customer service and Accounts. I have many years experience in working in an office environment and in my last job I was an Assistant Manager. However I also have worked on a number of occasions in construction so I have a little bit of knowledge in that to.

Any contact information would be very much appreiciated.

Chris

p.s. I live in a town called Eschenbach which is 10 minutes from Rapperswil. I would like to find work in this area or Zurich

(Mainly from an IT perspective) There are several such as UBS, Credit Suisse, Zurich Insurance, Citigroup... basically, international banks and financials.

There are plenty of english speaking agencies as well, not all IT orientated: ajilon, swisslinx, mba, elan, hays at least

Try http://job.search.ch/ as well

Hope this helps.

I assume that offers similar returns to www.monster.ch ? If not, there's an addition to the list

Thank you guys for your advice. I have looked on some of the sites and have seen a few I could possibly apply for. Thanks for your suggestions and please if you think of anymore let me know and I would be very greatful.

What is everyone doing for St. Patricks day?

Cheers

Chris

www.jobserve.co.uk also does Switzerland, I got my job there.

I'm actually thinking of complaining to jobserve since a very high percentage list their location simply as "Switzerland". The agents seem to imagine that the only pool of skilled workers who read those ads are in the UK!

Probably the best job site for Switzerland is topjobs.ch

Richard

For office and admin type roles manpower, kelly's services and the like are your best bet.......

Construction type roles agencies like Bellini are also worth registering with...

Agreed that Topjobs will generally also deliver, as will Monster (if you go are willing to go through all that profile completion and CV ulpoading malarkey).....

Actually, Zurich (Insurance) is an English speaking language friendly company and has a whole range of jobs available.

www.zurich.com

And go to Careers.

Goodluck!

P.S. I work for Zurich so if you have any further questions, just ask.

Hi Cherry, I am not sure if this is the case at Zurich but do you get some kind of reward for introducing someone who subsequently gets a job? I know companies used to do this when the market was tighter... If so then maybe you can profit by people sending their applications to you and you forward them.

Here is the direct link for Zürich.

I will let you all know about the benefits when I read them.

Hi,

I am also looking for work in Switzerland - ideally in Accounting (part qualified level). Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if I can't find work within Accounting straight away I am willing to do any job so long as my lack of German doesn't affect matter. Anyone know of what sort of work I could look for?

Thanks!

Duncan

Duncan,

www.Swisslinx.ch and www.michaelpage.ch may be of use for accounting jobs but MP are not that professional and you must do the chasing.

Couldn't agree more.

It's www.Swisslinx.com incidentally, spot the employee!

PPS - Duncan, we've already been in touch with each other right?

Did you try Swisslinx?

Well I did, and they haven't been much help so far

Sorry Nymong, I definitely wasn't referring to your situation.

Did you try with Swisslinx? I know they once looked for Bankers here but with experience in the APAC market.

Also, feel free to have a look on my website http://www.swiss-job.ch , it gathers jobs in switzerland from lots of other sites like Monster / TopJobs, SwissLinx, etc etc and indexes them, hopefully in an easy way ..

I'm still working on it, but some functionality is already there..perhaps you'll be lucky and find something.

Regards,

Daniel

Daniel, you're aggregating RSS feeds from other sites there?

I also notice that you can register but don't see the benefits nor a privacy policy?

Are you generating income through this site or is it offered from the goodness of your heart?

And it seems slow....
