Swiss Mobile Phone Company List

Hey, no problems so far. I’m completely satisfied with the network and customer service. I am on the CHF 19 tariff with an esim for an Apple Watch and iPad (one is free for a year and the other I pay CHF 5 extra a month for).

I also switched to Galaxus, but still waiting for them to activate my SIM. It seems Wingo won’t release my number until my subscription with them expires in another two weeks.

I give them low marks for communication as I only found this out after my attempts to activate their SIM failed without explaining why.

That seems obvious to me, no communication necessary.

Certainly you’re aware of the contract’s end date. Wingo can’t release your number before the contract has ended as they would break their contract otherwise.

They sent me the SIM card with the instruction to activate it immediately and provided a link. So I installed the SIM card and I followed the link and received an error message. Only after I contacted Customer Service did I learn that I had to await a specific date to activate it.

Pretty obvious now but I simply followed their instructions which didn’t work.

Ok, this is different then.

with 20chf/m it’s possible to catch a really good mobile offering, though the swisscom keeps the monopoly by having the broader/best spectrum

in practice, I’ve figured I can have 2 sims in a dual sim phone with sunrise and salt network to have equal coverage to swisscom within Switzerland for half their price, with additional perks like 20GB of 5G speed data in EU for each sim.
