Swiss or German/French equivalent of Emergen-C Drinks?

Hi,

I arrived from the U.S. about a month ago and I am looking for a Swiss or German/French equivalent of the vitamin powder drink that is popular in the U.S., called "Emergen-C" with Vitamin D, C, B, etc. Do you have any recommendations? Preferably for a natural one with regular sugar or Stevia (not Aspartame)? Thanks in advance...

Personally, I recommend eating an orange or two instead. And if you want more than just vitamin C, throw the orange slices on top of a proper salad.

just go to the pharmacy and there are vitamin c tablets you can put into your water- same fizzy emergen-C thing. 2 oranges are great for normal days but nothing puts me back into shape when i have a cold or am beginning to get sick like emergen-C.

i have a couple here- last time i was in the states i bought a box full. actually, as my mama is coming in a month i'll have to remember to ask her to bring more! happy to send a few if it's an emergen-C !

There was actually a child that died of scuvy in the U.K. recently.

But, it's not something you'll get if you miss vitamin C for a day or two so whoever named their drink "Emergen-C" appears to be pandering to the worried-ill, and it appears to be working.

Have some fruit and vegetables and do yourself a favour.

(apologies if you're attempting a crossing of the Atlantic by rowing boat or going to the North pole on a pogo stick)

Seems to be almost mainstream belief these days that massive amounts of it will help cure a cold, despite no medical evidence to support it.

Then again, this is probably true to a greater or lesser extent for 95% of vitamin and other supplements sold...

There seems to be a parallel society to the one I live in where a pill, or a supplement, or a medical procedure can replace almost anything that involves any effort.

And now it appears that eating an orange is too much effort too.

German equivalent : Veggie and fruits department of any bio-ecological-shop.

French equivalent : just a big laugh (but nevertheless a multivitamin mix bought in the supermarket without reading the list of ingredients and denial in public when asked about this purchase) and big laugh again.

Pick and choose.

Ask for "Ascorbinsäure". It's pure Vitamin C and costs about 100time less than any pills etc.
