Swiss Salary - Personal Wages Calculator

No managers around eh?

It is called "Kaderfunktion" 5th dropdown list on salarium

Taxes - Advisors/Accountants / Cantonal Offices / ZH Tax forms / Expat US Taxes

Seems to be spot on for me too - have just accepted a job in Bern and it more or less tells me that I am on an average wage.

I just found another site, which shows the salaries in graphs and has the possibility to check a salary basd on a specific job function: http://www.lohncheck.ch ... May this is helpful for you as well...

I gathered in this blog-post, some interesting resources to help you build your own estimation.

Interesting!! thank you

Great site, I am definitely underpaid, I need a new job!

To me the salarium seems accurate. I just wonder (as a SAPer) if I am paid as a man or the men at my company earn by 1500 more / month?

Still bugs me what is the extra they do for that money?

That's an interesting ethical question - does this website actually condone/encourage employers to pay women less. If I ever go for another swiss job, I'm going to just ask for the 'men's salary'.

if this is right, then they are really trying to go cheap with me due to the fact that I come from Croatia. and I was right with the numbers that I said that I want.

I do not understand what to choose.

It shows me 20k CHF/month for 10 years in finance middle management.

Do finance people really make 240k/year in switzerland?

I am talking about average finance profile, not an investment banker.

What about 10 years strategy consultant?

In the calculator is the question Stellung : and Kaderfunktion is management.

The here below blog post lists some additional (more specific) resources to to estimate a salary range in Switzerland:

I hope it can be useful.

Very interresting, thanks for sharing!

This is a great find, still valid as of 2015?

Thank you!

So depressing...Work my *** off and get paid less than my male colleagues..... :/

Thank you PayScale for making my day. I got Swiss salary estimate in canton of Wyoming

http://www.lohncomputer.ch/

Monatlicher Bruttolohn in CHF = Gross income

Alter in Jahren = your age

‹Status = maritial status (ledig=single//verheiratet=married)

‹Kinder = children

‹Kirchenmitglied = are you a member of church?

‹Kanton des Wohnorts = choose what canton you will live in

if you earn less than 120'000 CHf you will have to pay Quellensteuer (last number in the calculation)

if you earn more or live here more than 5 years with a C permit you have to pay tax, so add the last number back to the sum at "Ergebnis", as you will not be taxed at source, but file your tax declaration each year. the defacto result can vary between 200-300 CHF, but average result of the wage calculation is ok.

This one shows your "netto" or take home salary but I can see that on my payslip.

It's good for people who are considering moving here and know their gross salary but don't know what they will have after stoppages.
