Swiss Salary - Personal Wages Calculator

thanks for this....I've just changed jobs and did a quick google to check my salary but this shows that I got a very good offer

This could also be useful:

How about 12000 salary per months? is it good salary in Switzerland?

Do you mean 12000 chf gross (brutto) per month or 120000chf annually? Either way, yes. Depending upon your lifestyle and what you spend your cash on. It's a bit of a "how long is a piece of string " question.

Do a quick search (top right hand, you may have to do an advanced/google search too) and you'll find loads of threads and posts on this topic.

Thanks for repy. How much averagely a senior IT developer can earn?

Is the search function broken again?

How much a senior IT developer can averagely earn i CH per month?

I have no idea. What have you been offered? I won't know if it's good or not. Please use the search function.

most developers are paid on a 13 month basis. average salary is approx. 9230 CHF per month.

The problem is 'senior' can mean anything today. £120k probably the ball park if you are not very average who would earn £25-35k in the UK

Following the link provided by the OP (the one you quoted...) you can reach

https://www.gate.bfs.admin.ch/salari...ex.html#/start

and with a little effort (Calculator only available in 3 major national languages) you can have your personalized answer.

Just wanted to update that the link has changed.

Best,

The calculator doesn't seem to work well at all though. Unless I'm using it incorrectly certain options aren't selectable.

Ok, it seems to be browser related. Can't do much at all on Chrome but IE is all good.

Here's how it works!

Updated link for 2018 report. Very helpful "if" you job is listed in it

Thanks Patrick!

Even this one doesn't have my job title

A quick bump on this...

Does anyone have any views on whether the new Salarium:

a) is reasonably accurate?

b) is a fair/accepted/acceptable/reasonable reference basis for negotiations?
