Swiss TV in France

A Nice lady who lives in France has asked me to help her get the Swiss TV networks.

I've been doing some searching and see that all the free stuff is geo-protected.

I think a VPN is going to be too complicated for her.

Any ideas ... ???

Only simple solution is satellite reception:

(sorry not available in English).

You could, at least in theory, "borrow" someone's Swisscom TVAir login.

Does it need to completely legit?

If not..

One of these and a subscription to an IPTV service for ~10eur/month.. Give you basically every channel in the world.. Incl movies / sports etc etc

Easy to use too, no screwing around with VPN etc.

Thanks for the replies

Satellite not possible from her flat. North side of the building, ground floor.

French cable operators don’t seem to offer TV Suisse Romande.

I’m tempted to set her up with an easy VPN, who can recommend something good and something free.

Zattoo (using a Swiss Zattoo account) together with dns4me is said to work.

Yep, I'd suggest you to set up a vpn for her, I think that's the easiest way. I was actually recently looking a vpn for myself for streaming and eventually I went for nordvpn and it works fine.

I am currently on holiday in France and Zattoo is working perfectly for me on playback without the need for a VPN although live streaming is not possible. I guess she could record stuff and watch it a bit later if a vpn is too complicated for her.

You would have to set up a Swiss Zattoo account to have access to the Swiss channels I think.
