Swisscom bill payment UBS E-banking query

Can someone maybe tell me that the bill I received from Swisscom for my monthly internet fee, is that considered an orange or a red payment slip if I want to pay it via my UBS E-banking?

And what is the difference?

Many thanks for your answers.

I'm not a Swisscom customer myself, but since 1 year and 3 months, I have only seen orange slips. If you have a red slip, it is because Swisscom has their Account with the Post.

Thanks for your reply. I have a slip that I would consider "pale pink", others may consider it a peachish color. Is a red slip a lot "redder"?

Not from Swisscom, but a sample of the two slips:

Red

Peach

gosh, this is my problem.. it is more like the top one, but very, very pale.. can't decide

My internet invoices come in electronically, so the colour does not really mean much to me

For transactions, I use Postfinance E-Finance ( which accepts Postkonto or IBAN from my internet service provider ).

On the 2 samples, the red one says " Einzahlung für ", and " Zugunsten von " in the left field and " Zahlungzweck " in the small field at the top, where the Orange only says " Einzahlung für ", and " Keine Mitteilungen anbringen ". Maybe that could also be used to identify it ?

Doc.

okay, I have no "Zugunsten", so this is presumably an orange slip...

(am I being color blind here?)

many thanks for your help!

Orange slips basically contain a reference number as shown in post from jrspet

The reference number is used by the issuer to track the payments and is generally the preferred mechanisms of companies for recurring payments

So chances are that if this is a one off payment then its a red slip. but then there are exceptions

checking for the reference number will be the easiest, else I would say just walk into a post and pay it with your debit / credit card

Well I might as well try that.. you don't need a Post account for that?

All standard Swisscom bills are orange.

You need to open up a Postfinance account and ask for E-finance access ( probably same as your USB E-banking ).

However, most e-banking systems to my limited knowledge here permit payments electronically to an IBAN number / ISR number, including that of Swisscom ( don't forget to provide your invoice number or customer number in the given text area so that Swisscom can identify you ).

the reason i pay for internet and have ebanking is not having to sneak out from my workplace to go to the post at all
