Swisscom or Sunrise internet package

I am currently a Swisscom customer but hardly find any reviews on Sunrise internet. Live in Lausanne & Sunrise is giving a great bundle with internet & mobile package.

Are you a Sunrise customer & do you face any problems with your internet.

I am not a Sunrise costumer but currently a costumer at IntersXS. A new existing internet and telephone provider in switzerland. They are the cheapest one yet ! I have no complaints with internet speed. You should check them out

We were with swisscom and moved to sunrise to save about 60 chuffs a month. Positives are better mobile reception in our village. Internet speed is good. Did I mention the savings?

Negatives. I find the sunrise tv box nowhere near as good as swisscom in terms of layout, functionality and performance. Swisscom comeback TV is great, sunrise not so great. TV channels are more or less the same.

All in all, I think swisscom was better, but as I really don't watch that much TV, I am not going to change back because Sunrise is definitely cheaper.

Added Sunrise TV to our package of telephone and adsl Internet last week, for CHF 3,- extra/month.

Was obliged also to take their modem/router (for free), which is a little less good than my own Netgear (was).

Sunrise Internet TV does not work with Netgear modem/router.

Needed to change my WiFi extender position and needed to connect my house telephones to their router.

I did not want to make all these changes, but they made my house telephone not working anymore directly (surprise) and they did not want to help me in going back to my original status.

A problem still is, that on the Sunrise modem/router software I cannot change anymore the password of my WiFi repeater (extender), (at least I do not see how).

I now think Sunrise is very arrogant (like Apple ?) and just take, never give.

Will see what we will do after one year, (Orange?).

Sunrise land line is good, i had it before . i live in zurich kries 9 . but unlimited data sim signal is pathetic not even reaching 10mbps... i am planning to cancel it.
