Taking Swisscom phone into Liechtenstein

Is that considered roaming ?

I would think you would be able to stay connected to your usual Swiss network while in Liechtenstein. It's a small place.

Don't bet on it.

For Sunrise it is definitely considered roaming. However I believe for Swisscom and Orange I THINK they consider it part of Switzerland. You can always switch your network selection to manual while you are there to make sure - you should have signal most places. On automatic it WILL switch from time to time.

Thanks for the very fast advice. On the train there now and we couldn't decide. The manual option sounds like a good bet. Now just to find it!

I was travelling on the Rheintal Express passing Buchs, SG at it caught LiTANGO, so the chances of catching a non-Swiss signal is pretty high and considered roaming. Best to set the phone to manual operator selection.

GSM operators in FL:

When typing in orange.li in your browser, you are automatically taken to the .ch site so my guess is that some operators considers LI same as CH so no roaming charges

If you're on the LI network it's defo roaming... happened to my colleague before on a day trip to that tiny country!
