TaxMe Online Question

SO, I got last week a letter that I have to do my tax because I earn more than someone said is ok

one thing I'm not answering correctly and it stays yellow. so I need help.

it's part with Konti/Sparhelfte.

do I need to add here what I had on my "Sparkonti" in the bank eventhough the bank sent the letter with "Zinsen zu Ihren Gunsten: Verrechnungssteuerfrei"

an do I need to "Prepresentation (Pauschalspesen)" that I get from the company list under "Weitere nicht steuerbare Einkünfte"?

Thank you all!

At Konto and Sparhefte you have to list all bank accounts (worldwide) as well as other taxable assets (shares, funds etc). Pillar 3a has not to be listed as it is not taxable. This is used to callculated wealth tax. (some 0.1% of total wealth)

Pauschalspesen: Does the Lohnausweis specify that the Spessenreglement is

"genehmigt"? Than it has not to be listed on the tax return as this amount is non taxable.

Yes

Even the bank accounts in other EU states?

In my contract it says that this "Pauschalspesen" is not taxable. on Lohnausweis it is under "Pauschalspesen - Representation".

Is there any site that explains TaxMe Online on english?

Pauschalspesen: What does the Lohnausweis say, is it "genehmigt" or not? See Item 15 or somewhere else.

Yes all. Everywhere. You have real estate aboard? Also that.

ooo. I found it. it says "Genehmigt" so I will not add that. thank you!

No real estate aboard.

What are the chances that I will have to pay more taxes? first calculation shocked me because it said I will have to pay almost 20k CHF more.

Either you earn a fifthly lot of money, or you missed a lot of standard deductions.

one more question for bank accounts

what is - Bruttoertrag in entsprechender Währung

- Bruttoertrag (Zins) in CHF

- Kosten Konto / Sparheft in CHF

travel / lunch at work I have added

no additional trianign paid by myself

nothing else from the list for me ....

and if they don't have on the list currency of Croatia "kuna" HRK, I don't need to list this account?

Haha, nice try. Add a copy of your bank statement per the end of 2017.

I do the same with shares that do not exist on the list

They even have currency codes for Etheruem, Monero, Bitcoin, Ngultrum, and Stellar Lumens.

There is a flat deduction for training and other work related expenses, and how about health insurance?

I have only basic health insurance. and I didn't get any letter from insurance company about how much I have paid in 2017. and I din't visit doctor in 2017 in switzerland. so, I think I can't write anything. or am I wrong?

and I think I got it. the "stupid" taxme has calculated how much tax should I paid, and since I have paid it allready, there is no need to pay more. If I understand correctly, I will get money back.

could you just explain one more thing .

what do following thing mean:

- Bruttoertrag in entsprechender Währung

- Bruttoertrag (Zins) in CHF

- Kosten Konto / Sparheft in CHF

thank you!

We deduct our premiums (ok a portion of them) as well as whatever expenses they allow.

Feel free to stop by the gemeinde office and ask for help filling out the forms. They are the ones that check your return anyway, so may as well use the service you already pay for.

You know how much premium you paid? I mean you still have the policy letter you got at the beginning of the year?

I you can simply sum up the premiums paid PLUS interest of saving accounts. If it is less than a certain amount (Canton BE CHF 2400, Federal CHF 1700) you can claim that. If it is more you can claim the repsective max ammount.

If your remaining health related cost is exceptionally huge, like 5% of your income, you can also the claim the part above it.

For more details read the Wegleitung:

Correct. There is no place to enter the tax at source paid. The tax man will know how much you have already paid, and either bill you the difference or reimburse you. (Tax at source paid is also listed on the Lohnausweis.)

- Gross earnings in original currency

- Gross earnings in CHF

- Running and administrative cost of bank and saving accounts. (See page 31 of the Wegleitung)
