The ombudsman for telecom released his
report for 2012. When there is a conflict between a customer and provider, the ombudsman gets involved to find a solution. Each telecom provider finances the ombudsman in pro-rata of number of processed cases.
How much a telco pays to ombudsman is proportional to litigation cases. It tells you a lot about customer satisfaction. So here are the numbers:
- Swisscom with 2/3 of the market paid 116'628 CHF
- cablecom paid 141'069 CHF
- Orange paid 158'920 CHF
- Sunrise paid 228'395 CHF
Pretty clear if you need to select a provider that will cause you less trouble.
Hello
I am facing serious signal problems in neuchatel, I'm using orange. At apartment and inside main buildings, I have dead or hardly one signal, on which I most of the time can't use Internet. I complained to Help line, but they threatened that you will be fined 1000.-+ CHF for early contract cancellation. What I should do? I am unable to enjoy good telecom service. I can't even cancel the contract.
