I had applied for UK visit visa at the Teleperformance Zurich visa application unit more than a month ago but have not received my passport back yet....even more frustrating is not getting any response on where my passport is
wanted to know if anyone had similar experience with those guys in the past and what did you do to track it down?
I have sent numerous emails and have called them too ( on that expensive paid phone line ) but the answer remains same that a decision is yet to be taken on my application
Now i need my passport to travel outside EU asap but do not know what to do
it seems teleperformance do not have a clue about anything so wondering if anyone else faced a similar situation and what did you do?
Is it possible to get a interim passport? i.e. authorization to travel without your current passport? I dont honestly know but it may be worth looking into.

They sent all passports to Paris for processing. It took my husband 1,5 month to get his passport back. He applied for Business visa. We are applying soon for visa as well. web site said said it should take 10 days approx. but having previous experience I'm not an optimist.
I can't find a recent answer to my question anywhere.
I want to apply for a visitor's visa to the UK, I am trying to find out if the application centre in Zurich is still open and if I can go there once I have done the application online or if I will have to travel to Geneva?
A friend mentioned that the Zurich office is no longer open and I do not want to got to Geneva, I would rather meet my UK friend somewhere in France for a visit if that is the case.
The Teleperformance website is USELESS! No contact details whatsoever without the visa number you get after completing your application.
I do not want to spend the £88 to just find out if I have to travel to Geneva to get an appointment. So far I have not been able to get the information any other way on the internet.
Anyone have any recent experience that could help? I would greatly appreciate it.
Greetings, sorry to re-open this subject. I assume you have since, found a solution to your problem. I am in a similar situation myself - I've applied for a UK Visa at TLS, Zurich and need to fly to France soon.
I guess I am just going to chance it at the airport without my passport. I have been given a letter from TLS saying that they are in possession of my passport for a UK visa application, this might work?
I've spoken to the French embassy, my country's embassy, the airline and airport security; each one passes the buck to the other! Oh well, let's see how this ends.

The tracking needs improvement, but I submitted an application around the same time you did, got an appointment in two days, and got my visa in 2 weeks. I didn't use the Zurich Centre though...
My husband applied for uk business visa renewal from Zurich. He had his appointment at the Zurich TLS office and used their priority service on the 19th of Aug and we got the visa back on the 24th of Aug. Status on TLS website still does not show 'decision made'. The Zurich TLS office in Seefeld works only on Tue, Wed, Thurs. So appointments need to be taken in advance.
To make aware for others so that they don't end up in a bad situation at Teleperformance Center in Zurich...
This place is not a friendly place - especially the lady who handles the applicants. They should put this as a DISCLAIMER at the main entrance to their office.
I know I'm complaining but it was a very bitter experience - first in this friendly country...
So make sure you have
1. Photographs are exactly according to UK Immigration specifications posted on the website ( https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports ). I have witnessed TLS sending other people who had some blur on the corner of a photograph. So don't end up in running around street for the photographs at last minute
2. Make sure you know that you need to apply atleast 3 weeks before your travel time, as they take important docs like passport, resident permit etc, so that stops you from going anywhere until you get back your docs.
3. If you need the visa before 3weeks, then go for priority service (under value added services in TLS website), which costs another 170 euros.
Read everything here before going there for your appointment...
I totally agree with you on that TLS staff are downright rude. Further to this they now plan to introduce a charge an additional 'service fee' wef. 1 September 2015! This can't get any worse!
The end to end visa application process leaves a lot to be desired.
To make an appointment to process the visa, you have to sign a form online. Which I just did.
We then got a shock because the next available appointment in Zurich is in two weeks, which is cutting it too fine for the departure date we put in the application.
So we can either go to Geneva next Tuesday, incurring the cost of travel and time off work, or go through the pain of completing another application form online if we want to change the date of arrival in the UK.
To cap it all off, I can't find out the address of their geneva office because

It's a 7 min walk from Gare Cornavin (i.e. no need to take public transport). You do need to bring your photo (or else they might forward you to the nearest photo booth- for which, you need CHF 8 as change)
I have previously applied for a visa in the Zurich application center. Now, I applied for another visa again and it asks me to register on TLS. I have already an account so I don't want to create a new one. However, I cannot modify/update my account to include my current application . I checked other TLS websites and they are way better than the Switzerland location. Anyway, I'm just asking for feedback from someone with the same experience. Otherwise, I will just create a new account using a different email address.
Yes. Anyway, I found out that Geneva has an earlier date possible for appointment so I switched to Geneva, and guess what? You have to create a new account :-)
For those applying UK Visa through Teleperformance Geneva , Please be aware that you need to pay additional 30 euro per applicant , if you want the return of your documents (passport etc) after processing directly by courier to your address in Switzerland. This needs to be paid using the " Added value services" (Courier return in country) section in their website.
I believe this courier return fees is not applicable , if you apply in Zurich. But i am not 100% sure.
Sorry to reopen this old topic again. I applied for UK visitor visa via TLScontact last month (won't try it again...), and today I got my document+passport back, but without a visa or a refusal letter in the package... anyone has heard something similar before?
Oh. Sorry to hear. That is really weird. I personally haven't experienced this before. Its most probably is a mistake. You should contact TLS performance/Visa4uk as soon as possible. It could even be that you have a visa but they've forgotten to paste it in your passport? Good luck with this let us know how it goes.
