Television hire in Lucerne

I want to hire a flat-screen TV for 4 days, October 8 to 11 to use on exhibition stand at the KKL Confenrence centre in Lucerne. But I just can't find an equipment rental/hire company in Lucerne. Can any one please provide me a web address for equiment hire companies.

I'd ask the KKL, they must know local companies that do it, and I know there's at least one, just can't remember the name.

Yes, that was my first approach. They offered me a TV for 1,350CH for 4 days hire. I suggested that was bit expensive and asked (now three times) if they could provide me with a supplier list for companies that service the KKL but the KKL sales person has not responded to my request. Very poor service attitude.

I'm visiting Lucerne from Australia for a travel industry conference at the KKL. I've spent hours Googling trying to find a TV or business equipment hire place in Lucerne but just can find anything. What should be a simple 15 minute task has consumed hours and hours so far.

Just buy a cheap one. Electronics here are not expensive. Buy no name brand and see if you can give it to someone at the conference for half price at the end. will be cheaper than renting and less hassle

Good idea put a For Sale sign or best offer bidding on it and say they can take it home after the show. Serveral companies I think Inter discount and Fust offer free delivery on flat screens over a certain size maybe Migro's not sure.

Yes - it should make great hand luggage. lol!!

But things might work out OK now. The website linkes provided above have been great. I've sent off three inquiries. I'll see if any of them can supply a screen.

You could buy 3 new 40" widescreen TVs for 1350 CHF !!

Absolutely!! I've now sent three requests to hire companies so I'll see what responses I get from them on Monday. There must be another way than coughing up 1,350.
