I am a British citizen and have received a job offer in Geneva, so I will be moving there in this summer with my wife and our two children, aged 9 and 11. We are considering international English-language schools for them, and our top choice is The British School of Geneva.
Based on the fees listed on their website, the school appears affordable for us. However, until my wife finds a job, our budget will be quite tight. I was hoping that parents who currently send their children to The British School of Geneva, or who have done so in the past, could help clarify a few points.
I understand that extracurricular activities and clubs come with additional charges. Does anyone know what those costs typically are and how often they occur, especially for trips (both day trips and residential trips)? I have a meeting scheduled with the school and will ask them directly, but I would also appreciate feedback from parents. Additionally, any information about other costs, such as uniforms, would be very helpful.
