That has always been like that.
You used to get to read two or three a month for free but not anymore, they want you to pay for everything now.
As if anyone would pay to read their crappy articles.
well I guess it’s about as interesting to read as local.ch. And as accurate - my house-phone-no. is still in there after turning it off about a decade ago? Longer?
I don’t read their news but their paywall is really weak, one can press ctrl+p to have a print preview before their paywall is loaded. Not that I recommend doing that of course.

Recently saw that inside-it.ch also wanted a subscription. That never struck me as a site with content I wanted to pay for.
You can also just ask chatGPT 
To load their content? Not sure that my free daily limit is worth it =)

Most of the content on that site appears to be AI generated anyhow, so you might as well go straight to the source
