I just got back from an interview in the North East of the US and people were so friendly. I forgot what it was like. I couldn't go anywhere without someone saying hello to me.
But then again I might be extremely abnormal looking.

Well, I can't figure out how my ass has anything to do with how friendly people are in the US.
Anyhoo, I don't find the Swiss to be anymore boring or interesting than a majority of people anywhere else. Some people are fun, some people are boring. People who are fun, make their own fun, fun doesn't have to find them. Boring people can be made more interesting by association with fun people but left to their own devices they're just gonna continue to be boring.
I don't find the Swiss boring, though they do tend to be more serious about their daily endeavors than other cultures.
I think you can make your point (which I'm guess was about the Swiss being boring, rather than you being a stud) perhaps with terminology that people might find a little less offensive / annoying? I note your large number of red dots and swelling groan count. Consider this a warning.

The Swiss are in general good intentioned people, simple and trustworthy.
But they are indeed boring.
I suposse it is the price to pay for having such an ordered and clean life with so many regulations.
They have been tought since kids all what they can't do to annoy the neigbors, so they ended to be like they are, very reserved and silent people.
But off course this is an unfair generalisation.
I have met several swiss that are not boring and that you can have a great time with them.... But off course it is their kind of great time... not the one that I used to have back home.
I really prefer it like it is, I do like the calm the respect and the order here, this gives me a safe and confortable environment to live in and I do have my fun respecting their space...
