The 32nd Swiss Classic British Car Meeting will take place on October 5, 2024, in St-Prex, Switzerland. This annual event, held on the shores of Lake Geneva, showcases over 1,200 classic British cars and motorbikes, celebrating the 100th anniversary of MG.
The event runs from 10 am to 10 pm and is free for both exhibitors and visitors.

The 33rd Swiss Classic British Car Meeting will take place on Saturday, 4 October 2025, in St-Prex, Switzerland, starting from 08:00 and running into the evening. This annual event gathers hundreds of classic British cars and bikes from Switzerland and across Europe, featuring a festive atmosphere with food, socializing, and lakeside views. Entry and participation generally require free registration, and club displays may have reserved spaces. Entry for visitors is free.
This event is considered the largest gathering of British cars in Switzerland and a major annual highlight for enthusiasts.
Aren’t there ‘informal’ meetings of this kind every weekend at Immensee? Or maybe it’s just the ‘normal cars’ of people living on that area…
As mentioned this is the 33rd iteration of this event. For 31 of those years it was held on the lakefront in Morges, just a few kms away from St. Prex. Then there was a dispute between the organisers and the town and it moved down the lake.
All volunteers doing the organising and participants come from all over Europe, with an occasional N. American.

Now celebrating over 33 years, this beloved event has become a unique and essential gathering in Switzerland for British car enthusiasts. What started as a passion project by Keith Wynn and fellow aficionados continues to grow thanks to the dedication of participants, fans, and the incredible support of the commune of St-Prex.
In 2024, the event attracted more than 1,200 British cars and motorbikes and an impressive 18,000 spectators from Switzerland and across Europe — including England, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain.
All British makes and models are welcome — as long as the vehicle is over 35 years old. Exceptionally rare or noteworthy younger models (especially sports cars) may be accepted at the discretion of the committee.
Motorbikes will once again be grouped together on the quays near the port.
This year, we’re thrilled to celebrate the Mini as our official Car of the Year — a true British icon beloved the world over.

Our next door neighbour will be there with one of his MGs as he is every year.
One of his MGs? Oh I am jealous. I had a Midget once …
He has 6 or seven of them plus a 1967 mini, a beetle, a vintage Porsche and a couple of other old cars.
He runs his own carrosserie and most of them he’s done up himself. A couple of the MGs are still works in progress.
He usually takes the black MG to the British car show.
This year it’s on Saturday, 3rd October.
Anyone been? What’s the parking like? The website is useless for info. For the map it just gives you co-ordinates. 
Looking on google I can’t see anywhere around there at all to park.
The cars will be on the lakefront along Avenue de Taillecuo which is an easy walk from the main road from centre of town. Typical Swiss efficiency (romande-style) to be expected. Or you could take the train again walking distance.
Not answering the question. I can’t see anywhere in the area where you can park your cars to visit the show.
And while the station might be walking distance for you, husband can’t walk very far at all these days so probably too far for him with having to walk up and down to see the cars on show.
The parking will be managed by volunteers directing cars to available spaces but you might want to contact the organisers at info(at)British-cars.ch for information about parking for PRMs.
Check their FB page, parking is across the road and northeast of the large buildings (warehouses?) in the top left corner of your screenschot.
With that said, get your SO a wheelchair for the time being.
Looks like the parking’s in the red block while the bulk of the show is in the green block. That’s too far for him to manage.
And no, I’m not pushing him around in a wheelchair, thanks. We’ll give it a miss. Shame it moved from Morges.
Morges’ train station has a big underground parking. The bus 724 goes from there to the bus stations St. Prex, place d’Armes
Drop Mr. Fleecestaler near the buses in Morges and walking distance is minimized.
The bus 724 goes to Allaman, I have no idea if there’s a convenient parking on that side.
Allaman has the huge shopping centre with lots of parking there.
PRM doesn’t mean wheel-chair, it means reduced mobility. Try contacting the organisers (they are all English, or English-Speaking) I suspect they have some nearby spots, if you have asked in advance.
One of the reasons it moved from Morges was problems with Parking.
We never had any problems parking at the car park by the lake, but we did make sure to go early so we were there when it opened. What the parking was like at the area further away I’ve no idea as we never used it.
Seems it was just as well we didn’t go. Was a bad accident during the night which caused a lot of traffic problems on the motorway between east and west Morges. Wasn’t expected to be cleared until 11am. Hope no one got caught up in it if they went.
