It’s dangerous for grandpa Tump stumbling over Musks toys in the corridor. Will they get a nanny for Musk too?
You’re right. There’s always the people telling Mastodon is better. Just check the replies So, supporters of Mastodon, but not a single supporter of twitter.
PS: TBH whatever social media researchers in China prefer is also relevant. But not twitter.
As a Twitter user, I would not classify it as a Nazi hangout.
Even worse, it is a forum where people share completely false stories that are heavily biased toward people who are incapable of discrimination.
If, for example, you were to tweet something completely ridiculous like Princess Di was really a man then you could expect a lot of support from the stupids.
It doesn’t look good for BS, exclusion and intolerance aren’t attractive or interesting. The ecstatic predictions following last year’s spike prove to be way overblown.
Even AOC’s account, the most-followed individual according to Grok, didn’t post for one month before its recent revival.
I am quite happy with Bluesky. There is a trend of blocking accounts with inconvenient views though, either individually or by adding you to a list. Apps like Clearsky allow you to see who blocked you.

Is Truth Social a dark horse in the race?
twitter may be found in non-compliance with a few laws and regulations soon…
In my experience, Threads has the most balanced coverage of events across the world. You can easily find folks talk about war crimes in Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, about police brutality in Serbia and California, about corruption in Thailand and strikes in France.
should be interesting if South Africa became a space-faring nation soon.
