Does anyone know where I can buy tinned tuna in springwater? I have seen it sold with brine, olive oil and other combinations but not in springwater. When I lived in Australia, I bought it for the cats to eat instead of normal cat food, and they prefer it.
Lidl sells it.
My cat also only likes Tuna in springwater.
At Migros you could recently buy a largish 6 pack of tuna for 5.80. You might be able to still find this deal. I think it is the blue tin.
Thank you. I will have a look on Monday. Pretty fussy cats. Love the tinned tuna in springwater and nothing else.
Smart cats- they got you trained!
A friend of mine used to buy 'cat' tuna, in the pet food section. Never saw that in the States, thought it was a good idea until I had a look at the stuff .
Another option is if you end up doing any shopping over the border, tuna is relatively cheap in Germany such as Aldi, not great for eating but OK for the cats.
Never thought of ALDI. I used to buy the ALDI tuna for the cats all the time in Australia. Agree it isn't the best for eating for us, rather eat the cat food tuna .
Just fed mine one of those with an egg yolk mixed in. It's actually cheaper than the cat tuna we buy sometimes.
This seems to be a regular discount that Migros runs every three months or so. This is good tuna, one of the few things that are much cheaper here than in the US, where a similarly sized can of solid white tuna goes for $2.00 and up.
The coop Lifestyle tuna is in springwater.
