We will be getting a visit from the Tooth Fairy this evening. Can anyone tell me how much Swiss Tooth Fairies leave? Or do they just fine you SFr1000 for not putting the tooth in a Züri-Sack?
Already found this thread but am still none the wiser.
we just give all the change we can find (which usually adds up to quite a bit) and it gives my son joy to sit and count the money add up, and learn a bit of math
One nice, clean shiny coin, the larger the size, the better. Also, get a little tin to actually keep those little teeth for later interest once Nickatbaseljunior stops believing in that little winged critter.
I asked hubby, he said he never had tooth fairy visits as a kid.
Off topic: Where do you find these, and how much do they usually cost? My brother got me onto them when we were looking for particular ones for his kids. (I have a Santa )
5 CHF for first tooth, 2 for subsequent ones, is what we have done, I think Maybe even 5 CHF for the big suckers up front, as I spoil my children...And if you forget, it doubles (made that one up, but the last time I think it took 3 nights before the lady showed up, lazy %)(§)
This is why England is going broke. Too many people with bad teeth is forcing the tooth fairy to get a loan in Euros from the Central European Bank. Factor in interest rates, long working hours and trade union meetings and you'll understand why Switzerland banned any giving of monetary gifts to people losing thief molars before the age of 21.
