Towing a car long distance

I am interested to tow my car from the Pfaffikon area, SZ, to the St Louis Mulhouse region of France. I was told at my garage to tow it to Bern it would cost about 200CHF, which seems reasonable. I know that this distance seems quite far, but, after doing the math, it works out quite favorably. AND this car has never been cert'd locally in Switzerland, so it's not an import export issue. Anyone have any past experience with a long distance towing company, or atleast know the proper way to say it in german so I can do my search? Everything I have gotten so far, is really like shipping the car to Prague for dismantling, and this is not at all what I am looking for.

I can't help with translation, but once you get the phrase you could search ebay.fr for people that move cars people buy on there.

You could try ringing TCS, or the French equivalent. There must be cases where they need to recover cars broken down abroad.

Ask a local classic car garage in Mulhouse. These people always know the cheapest way of moving an immobile car. I would imagine a French garage should be cheaper than a Swiss one.

Uship do list car transportation people in Europe, but google "uship scam" first to know what to look out for:

Finally, you could hire a car trailer. Getting one with a winch is a good idea.
