Am I the only one struggling to do bank transfers from a CH account to a trading212 CHF account. They give you specific information to enter but the fileds don’t match that in ZKB or revolute. I did a few test 1 CHF transfers and they get lost in the ether.
What am I missing?
Do you have normal IBAN/BIC details? Maybe a good excuse to switch to IBKR

I did look at IBKR but you literally have to prove you’re the wolf of Wall Street and pass a test to buy and trade which I thought was odd.
I’ve been onto T212 several time and it’s just a bit annoying. You have to put two different addresses and a “reference” which Revolut don’t accept. Painful really for something so simple

ThePoorSwiss did a great review of Trading212. They actually use IBKR as a custodian bank and make money by lending your shares. Fortunately, you can opt out of this feature. Also, if you opt-in, you will get 50% of the profits. If you are a Swiss investor, you deal with the Cyprus entity, not the UK entity. It is essential to mention that the reputation of the Cyprus regulation entity (CySEC) is quite alarming. It is considered corrupt and willing to close its eyes against fraud. hey also got 4.6 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot so some solid user feedback. The main issue with them is with withdrawals - you are only allowed to withdraw to the same account you deposited your funds from (unless they changed this recently).
This is also concerning to me.

We hold the shares you invest in on your behalf. Whenever you invest with Trading 212, your equity is held in custody at Interactive Brokers. They are the biggest broker in the world by the number of daily trades, holding 160B US dollars in client assets.
You cannot transfer your shares to another broker and they are regulated by an entity with a terrible reputation.

What a faff. I will give IBKR another look as I never really liked the interface for T212
