Hey forum!

Two adults and one kid (6 years old) would like to go to France (Colmar and Strasbourg) by car for a weekend to enjoy Christmas spirit and markets.

From my understanding (data from https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/co...als-in-france/ ) it is possible to enter with COVID certificates for adults and filled sworn statement (for adults and the kid). Going back to Switzerland doesn't require anything, since it is a border region (Grand-Est).

Am I right or I'm missing something?

What about eating in restaurants? Do we need any papers or anything else for the kid?

Nah covid certificate is enough for france-everything. Since you don't fly back to Suisse but go via car no need for PCR tests

When you use the french health app, make shure you scan the swiss certificate

the wrong way(qr code at the bottom), so the app can import the swiss qr code.

But you have to be aware that things could change at any time, currently.

Personally, I would choose to stay in Switzerland for this next holiday and wait for Spring/Summer when hopefully things will improve.

Yes, fine.

I used the Swiss one in France, no problem.

Till now I could use Swiss app anywhere in EU. Heck, even some friends back in my home country use Swiss Covid app all the time, as they do not like the implementation of their native app.
