I accessed my online UBS bank account today and my credit card has disappeared.
No card, no transaction history, nothing.
Sadly my bill for next month is the only thing not gone.
I rang the credit card emergency number but it was engaged so maybe I am not the only victim.
Sent them an email but not holding my breath for an answer.
Strangely I made an online purchase with my card today that worked OK but with no online request from UBS for verification so now I am worried some third world bandits are running around with my card.
Maybe cancel it to be on the safe side? Short term inconvenience might save you from a world of pain further down the line?
I just got a message from UBS that nobody can see their credit card details.
Cancelling was not an online option when it did not exist in my online account and nobody answered the phone.

UBS: Ah, we were supposed to delete Credit Suisse, not Credit Card …

Check your e-bank settings under cards…there is a slider button that can toggle the visibility of your cards in e-banking.
I have bit the reverse problem. A corporate card that was under my name is cancelled since 2 years, but I can’t get rid of it from my overview.
It’s called “being agile”.
Nah, I´d rather call it “Verschlimmbessern” what they are doing.
