UBS: wire transfer

I couldn't find it on their website, but does anyone here know how much UBS charges for receiving wire transfers? I believe my account is the welcome account (2 CHF/month for online statements, but free for the first year).

incoming is free of charge.

outgoing is free of charge within switzerland if assets >10k, otherwise 0.30 per transaction

I was looking up the information, so I am reviving this thread by posting what I found, for future searchers

https://www.ubs.com/ch/en/swissbank/...l-payment.html

Prices are in a link, bottom right.

Why would you receive international through the/your bank?

Search this forum for currencyfair/transferwise! (Ignore at your own peril)

CF/TW still send the money to your bank. So, any information on the receiving costs of transferred money might be useful.

Am I wrong?

Not sure - it ́s a domestic incoming transfer. Would anyone (outside US/Canada) dare to charge for that

True that

With international wires (non SEPA) it can be different. Often the first bank in the receiving country takes a fee for transfering the funds to the ultimnate bank account.

Hi All,

I’m trying to figure out the cost of transferring money from UBS to a Turkish Bank where I have also a CHF account. Unfortunately UBS doesn’t clearly explain this on their website or at least I couldn’t understand. Do you have any ideas how much UBS charges for the transfer of around 60k CHF.?.I will call the Bank but just wanted to get some ideas beforehand.

Thanks .

SWIFT transfers are between 10 and 100 CHF, no matter the amount. It all depends how and where you send the money. Check page 24 - price of payment services https://www.ubs.com/ch/en/private/ac...and-prices.pdf

Sometimes I send money home and it's about 25 CHF total, UBS + receiving bank fees.

Use transfer wise, it’s much cheaper and you know upfront how much would be the charges. I can give you my referral link if you don’t have an account. Please PM me.
