I didn't find any in the highstreet, but no worry, i have been sent to various websites where i can order them.
My issue now is the confusion i have converting UK to Euro (and Swiss also??) sizes. Is there a decent online chart for this ... i have searched the forum and also google, but have so far come up short of anything decent.
One thing I can add is that there isn't such a thing as European size (I think when in the UK they talk about European size they talk about France and Germany sizing). For example, a 42 in France, is a 40 in Switzerland and a 46 in Italy. Quite confusing when I go shopping as it depends where the clothes are made to what the sizing is (even if they are from China! ) First time I went i was over the moon to notice I lost 2 dress sizes, and then I found out about this discrepancy..
Anyway, have a look at this converter, it converts one dress size into what it is worldwide
I can answer this one. No - you just end up buying your stuff in the states...
No, seriously. That's what I've been doing especially while I worked in Frankfurt. German petite extra small would include me and my sister. Once I bought a pair of trousers and took them to the tailor to get it taken in. She got angry because she said if she took in the waste and hips, she's going to ruin the fit altogether. The incident happened after I had been in Frankfurt for a month. I admired this suit a lot but was big for me. After the mini debacle, I stuck to buying my stuff in the states. Shopping in Italy also works...
I'm 5'3 and weigh 93 lbs or 41 kilos. I fit in a petite 0 in the states. This ought to explain the difficulty in finding the right size.
P.S.: No - I don't have an eating disorder :-) I'm of Asian origin. Both parents are very small-boned and petite.
