Because obviously Brushing doesn't mean the same in English! I'm looking at a list of services for a salon, and I'm just not exactly sure what I'm reading. Surely a translation would be helpful for others as well, and could go beyond hair and onto pedicures, manicures, etc! I thought I had it straight when I had my nails done, but I still got confused about the different meanings, as they tend to break things down more here in CH than I'm used to. In the US, a manicure means that the cuticles will be treated, the nails filed, and painted!
