Can anyone help me for my issued. I have left switzerland for about almost 15yrs after finished my studied and i still have unpaid telephone bill and about this may i ama going to visit switzerland for vacations will this effect at the imigratuon..could you suggest me what should i do?
According to my friend whom had the same issue after a year or so when he logged in to the account all bill issue was gone and he had no problem visiting again

You won't have a problem. Even if they had issued it for collection this only has a life of 5 years now. Besides, Swiss immigration do not stop you entering because of bad debts, only for unpaid parking or speeding tickets!
Thanks for all your inputs, actually it was not i did not wanna pay my liability, it was 1year telephone contract and when im about to leave switzerland one of my friend gave an offer that he will continued it but apparently he did not. Why do i know because almost 1year after a letter came to school and they forward it to my home town in indonesia, it says that i havent finished the bill. It was about 200/300chf and i have lost contact with that person who had lied to me, since that time until now
It's too late now, but for other readers, if you have a 1 year contract and someone offers to take it over, it should be done formally and the liability then passes to the new subscriber.

I would think there would be some rulings that extent the 10 years if the debtor due to his own behaviour cannot be contacted, and keeps himself out of reach from the company he owes money. I know other countries that have such rulings but am unaware of the situation in Switzerland.
