UPC Line Rental

I recently moved away from UPC/Sunrise and onto fiber… that said, I used to get two bills from UPC:

  • one for the actual internet subscription (billed monthly)
  • one for the line rental “kabelanschluss” (billed annually)

Any ideas how to cancel the second? I’ve called the hotline, who tells me that my internet subscription is cancelled…

I’m keen not to have another 1200chf bill at the end of the year!

I found a portal that lets you “notify” them of a closed connection, but it’s to be filled out only by an authorised party:
