I’ve been living in Zurich on a B permit for about four years, freelancing in content and design. A studio in the US has offered me a role starting early next year, so I’m trying to get my head around the visa side from this end. Has anyone here handled a US work visa application while based in Switzerland? Curious how long it took and whether you used an immigration lawyer or managed the paperwork yourselves.

Do you mean to move over there to work or work remotely in Switzerland?
Moving over, isn’t that down to the employer to do for you?
Working remotely here I don’t see why you’d need a US work visa for that.
