Hi all, I am starting to give up on this. Found on Anibis a pair of nordic ski boots 26.5 from Scarpa, overpaid 180 francs for them, and they definitely don't fit me. I was a fool, as they kind of hurt a bit when I tried them on, but as I commuted a bit to get to see the boots I just bought them.
Went to Lanches to see if they had any that would fit me (used), nothing.
Went on leBonCoin, nothing - on Anibis, nothing.
Where do you get used Nordic skiing gear here? I just hate the idea of buying new boots for 500 francs when I'll use them just a couple of time per season. I just do regular downhill skiing every weekend and have spared no expenses there, including a new pair of boots for 400 euros from Lanches this season. I just can't justify to my wife that I need another pair of ski boots for the couple of weekends I go for a small outing
So recommendation on used gear, shops, rental shops that sell their old material. Anything, any good address? I am a taker. I am on the verge of just giving up. (Scarpa boots have been put back on Anibis, in the hope that someone else will buy them in the next two years....) Need to be an hour from Chene Bougerie maximum.

What kind of Nordic boots? Skate, classic, telemark?
I sometimes get my langlauf kit off Conrad Sport in Germany, they have good deals.
Edit: If they are Scarpa, they must be either Telemark boots or Touring Boots (Touring is not normally put in the Nordic category, Nordic normally refers to langlauf - (and ski jumping if you are really brave)).
My apologies - my understanding was nordic skiing was the same thing as ski touring! Shows my lack of knowledge in the domain... Will keep an eye out on Conrad Sport, if I already paid 180 swissies for a pair of used ski boots, adding 120 to get a new pair may be the best option in the end... Was told to go for Scotts by my friend when I complained about the Scarpa not being wide enough.
Yes my Telemark boots are Scarpa and they are narrow. I would advise that you go to a large StoĢckli store if you can (there is a good one near Thun). They have loads of boots for sale from different brands, and they are all on display, so you can help yourself and try them all on, compare brands etc with no pressure to buy.
My personal opinion is that Salomon are the best ski boot make (although every foot is different) it'd be worth trying their touring boots on.
