Using Comparis for Health Insurance

Hi all - 1st time post about insurance. I've read quite a bit, but just need to get my head clear on something. I'm moving to Zurich on 1st July and have secured an apartment. I'm onto insurance now on my TODO list

I don't speak German (or very little) and have no experience with health insurance in Switzerland. What I'm wondering is, is it "safe" for me to use comparis?

I understand the difference in the insurance types (eg HMO) etc, but am just wondering should we sign up using something liek this, OR as it's our first time, talk directly to a broker / insurance company?

Anyone any ideas / experience with this sort of thing?

Comparis gets a kick.back from the insurances...so you can ask yourself if they are really neutral.

You can use the federal site for comparison (french & german):

Most important is to assess your health situation to see if a basic coverage would be enough for you.

Search on the forum there are many posts on this topic.
