No, I have not been following this. As usual the media seem obsessed with certain topics with click-bait headlines winning out over well researched and reasoned articles. Immigrants, Islamic terrorists, the Greens, the Chinese, Musk, Trump, Woke, AI. Pick your scapegoat for all that is or might be going wrong. There are issues that need to be confronted, things that should be improved etc etc but a bit more putting ones own house in order before blaming others would go a long way.

Yes, but it has to be injected in you thigh (you know, like they vaccinate little kids). Injection in the arm works only for the upper body parts.

Canton Zurich has issued an alert as measles cases are increasing.
The Zurich cantonal doctor, Franziska Kluschke, says the reason is vaccination gaps in certain groups, such as young and middle-aged adults.
Doctors are being asked to check the vaccination status of their patients.
There have been eight cases since the beginning of the year – much more than this time last year. There’s also been an increase across the country.
The first signs of measles are normally a fever, light sensitivity and inflammation in the mouth before the well-known rash breaks out.
Most cases heal without lasting consequences – but an infection can cause meningitis, pneumonia and ear infections – which can lead to permanent damage.
In rare cases, death.
People who support RFKjr claims about vaccines causing autism are linking this to mercury in traditional vaccines with little evidence.
For anybody concerned by this remember mRNA vaccines contain no mercury.
Facts and science are now “woke”, it seems.

It’s too late anyway. Flu is at it’s peak right now.
It’s not too late. April or May would be too late. If you haven’t had the flu yet you still can be infected. This year’s vaccine is particularly effective.

Takes about 2 weeks to build immunity, I think. So still worth it.
There’s often a second wave in the Spring.
Interestingly, for all those who thought isolation masks and hand-washing were a waste of time during COVID, influenza B/Yamagata virus apparently became extinct during this time and hasn’t been identified since.
This means a vaccine only needs three components from now on and not the four it used to have.
