Anti-intelectualism starting (being noticed by me) in 2008 or so is real cancer.
Edit: for some balance - 2008 may be partly justified, but the spillover isn’t. The guards of the economy were either bought or asleep. Still on the topic of vaccines I like to refer to my Greek farmer grandma, born 1916 and gone to school until third grade (wrote in caligraphy, and did arithmetic like a pocket calculator). She knew what she knew and even more importantly knew what she didn’t know.

Vitamin K is not a vaccine but it has been regularly given to newborns for decades. I just read this heartbreaking story in the NY Times of parents who believe that it causes harm to the baby.

It seems as if trying to increase the birth rate doesn’t matter, as the ignorant parents will allow their kids to die of easily preventable things. Darwin?
