Does anyone remember when Lonely Planet was about travelling on a shoestring?
Look at the list:
It’s missing the rocklette / PALP festival. Sometimes living in Switzerland feels like a golden cage, stuff like this fixes it.
Wine museum? It’s not dead yet and somehow transformed into an archeological artifact. It’s alive, and there are open cellars. Or stop by when the vignerons are open.
Arolla is unmentioned, awesome!
@Tom1234: travel has always been luxury consumption due to opportunity cost. No matter if you can travel with 5 francs a day. The lost income could be much higher and that is the real price of travel when income matters.
