Any ideas?
Today I test drove a diesel vehicle and the car registration show 000 in section 72 (emission code). I'm confused as it should normally show show a code B+two digit
This is for vehicles for which the code cannot be determined.
Was it a VW ?
Thank you k_and_e, do you happen to know if emission test is needed to be carried out as for any vehicle with B03 or below?
No emission test needed for vehicles with the following Emission codes.
Gasoline or Gas Engines: B03, B04, B5a, B5b, B6a, B6b, B6c, A04, A05, A07
Diesel Engine: B04, B5a, B5b, B6a, B6b, B6c, A04, A05, A07
Be also aware that with Code 000 (or B00) you will not get a French CritAir vignette and no German Umweltplakette.
Just one thing, AFAIK code 000 is not one of the official codes it should be B00.
Will B000 need an emission test?
Yes, as it's not on the list of exclusions.
You could tell us the year/car/model/engine.
