wanted a furnished room

hello ...

Can anyone recommend where I could find a furnished room with a kitchenette / cooking facility from now until December in KT Aargau.

It is for a single man..does anyone know of even a hotel where they offer this facility.. KT. Aargau would be the 1st choice... but ZH would also come into question. He will be working in Datwil. near Baden....

Would suggest locating a room, then purchasing furniture, and then combining the two.

You didn't ask about afterwards, you just asked about a furnished room.

If you would like to know how to sell furniture please refer to the "marketplace" part of the forum.

So.... what pieces of furniture do you have for sale? Do you have a picture? What are the prices?

I am sorry , looks like i was not very clear and specific this gentleman does not have any furniture to sell.. he just needs a place to stay from now until end of December..

Your recommendation was that he should look for a room and then buy the furniture, at least that is how i understood.. but after he leaves what does he do with the furniture ... hence he would like to get a furnished room...

If he wants a furnished room, he will still need a room and furniture. There is no getting away from it.

yes you are right, but i guess for 2 1/2 months he wont be needing much furniture.. a bed .. table chair...i have been calling many of the rental agencies and no luck.. called a hotel too..

well i am still hopeful!

Hmmm, I think I understand now.

I would therefore suggest getting a room, a bed, a table and a chair.

In fairness Hugh your replies are a bit ridiculous.

OP just tell your friend to search for serviced business apartments on google or on homegate.ch Probaby expensive but will get you exactly what you want.

i have done that but unlike KT ZH, in KT AG it is not that easy to find a furnished place.. there is one in Klingnau... but it is a real hole.. cant even swing a cat

He should probably buy a garage, and a kit for a car, and then build the car himself.

Then he could sell it on the marketplace.

True people do tend to purchase for two months "from now until December". Its got to be down to the new Super-rich out there.

Try MIBAG, http://www.mibag.ch/desktopdefault.aspx/18_read-8/ . They have some 1 1/2 furnished flats for rent in Birr. I'm not sure if they can accomodate short term rentals though, but you could try.
