Well, Bauknecht is Whirlpool - although the (US) Whirlpool version of the machine I have is a far better machine.
I would go for a Miele. I had various diferent brands here and in the UK and Miele has been has the best one.
Come to think of it someone mentioned to me last week that they had purchased a Samsung Fridge Freezer and were very happy with it.
Having said that there are many acceptable brands of fridge/freezers on the market, but when it comes to washing machines, there are equally many poor brands/models on the market.
I dare to disagree!
