Water polo in Zurich

Hey hey,

I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any club water polo teams for women or co-ed in the Zurich area. I am 26 and played in high school and would really like to start up again.

... If there aren't then would anyone be interested in starting up a team... just for fun?

I am not a female unfortunately but, would like to play for fun. I am 24 and used to play as well. If you got any response, please let me know (that's why I am posting basically).

You could check out this official list of Water Polo Clubs and see if there is anything to suit your needs.

I think starting your own team might have a problem with water-time which is fought over constantly here.

I play in the Wasserballklub Stadtmannschaft Zürich water polo team.

We train in Oerlikon Hallenbad in winter and Letzibad in Summer.

I was going to suggest this club as well - I see them training at Oerlikon in winter while I'm doing my underwater hockey / underwater rugby training. It looks like a decent-sized club with some good trainers.
