I've been living here for about 5 years now but I never seem to get when does the Post actually deliver the mail and what days?
Of course this will vary for everyone, depending on where you are on the postman's route.
And your postal worker might change how he does his daily route, luckily he has such freedom and is not on the clock like the metro drivers.
We are in a small village, the postman comes between 07.55 - 08.05 every day. It's always the same postman, he knows us, he knows our neighbours, if we missed him because we are taking the kids to school he will catch us in the street and give us a parcel / signed for letter instead of leaving a card.
Joy of a small village.. Your experience may vary
Delivery? Generally Monday to Saturday. Time? Depends, as said, where you are in the post person’s delivery cycle, whether they have a lot of packages that need to be signed for, etc. Here in our commune our post person generally delivers between 10.15am and 11.20am, Saturdays usually done by 9am or 9.30am since there’s less they have to deliver at the weekend.
Had a small package to be signed for today and the post person arrived just after 11am.
There are two types, OP: One brings the letters etc. and the other the parcels. Mail comes Mo-Sa, parcels normally only Mo-Fr.
As the others said, it depends where you live and where on his/her route you are.
You can make an email-account with the post and they will inform you if you are to receive parcels or registered letters and when. But it will say something like "between 10.30 and 13.30h" for parcels, so that might not help.
Parcels I usually get delivered via my neighbour. I supply chocolate or whiskey depending on the mood that takes me and my neighbour provides packages. Saves me a trip to the post depot.
TL DR
Letters are random, for packages ask your neighbour to collect if you can't be there.
The post itself does not make any claim or guarantee when the mail be delivered each day.

2014it start to shoft again to later time
Exceptionally if we've had a very large package (such as a guitar) or a priority delivery they will deliver to us at the start of the round and we get it at around 8 o' clock.
