Well, apparently many people shop on Sundays, on the rare occasions when the stores are open here.
Yesterday (Sunday), the Volki-Land mall in Volketswil was open, and (despite the snow), it was PACKED. In fact, I'd never seen it so crowded.
So I guess I don't understand why, if there is no desire or need to have stores open on Sundays, then why are the stores that ARE open on Sundays always ridiculously crowded?
The airport (zurich) is now my favorite go-to place on a Sunday to shop when the weather is bad..
Soon there will be garden centres open on Sunday, this is quite a trend before Christmas.
Stay home and getting old.....
