What happened to the White Horse? (Montreux)

I went for my first evening investigation of Montreux last night.

Found the Irish pub to be open and alright.

But the British pub, the White Horse, was closed down and out of business. I recall a guy telling me something about it closing but i couldn't understand much of what he was saying.

Is there a story there?

And is there anything else to do around Montreux/Vevey?

Just went under a while back, nothing fishy just not enough business. Go to the Jazz cafe or barrel oak instead.

Oh. thats a shame.

Seemed to be a scandal of some sort the way I was told. Oh well.
