I was just curious about this euromillions. Every friday there is a queue in front of kiosks'. Just 1 question came in my mind, is the jackpot also apllicable for foreigners? What if they hits the jackpot?
Obviously you haven't heard of the "Law of attraction".
If you don't believe it, it will never happen.
Within a period of three years I won a car ( CHF 35000 value) a trip to Easter Island, a trip to Iceland, a trip to New York, a trip to Niagara Falls (all from Europe), a complete F2 Comet wind surf board, a complete audio system and a lot of other prizes.
Every time I participated in a prize draw I just wanted to win so bad...........and I did in one out of ten.
Coincidence ? Maybe but in those years I needed it so much more than now.
and so what if you were not a resident, or did not meet some other bureaucratic requirement? you can always find a local willing to front for you for a small % of the action...
That means, if I don't have a permanent resident in Switzerland and I am holding a B which I have to extend every year then I cannot collect the jackpot if i win , right ?
Think it 1 more time, what if some 1 lends you the lottery and request to cash it ? Still, the lottery system is designed in a very cuning way. One will not be payed all the amount once, It is payed in installment. Therefore, no chance for foreigners poor me .
Except if you play the UK national lottery online - for any significant prize money they will now check your residency and where you bought the ticket (IP address wise) before payout. If you are considered not a UK resident you will not be paid.
Pff who needs Euromillions, i just got an Email saying i won 10 Million in the Dutch Lottery,on the sad side My Nigerian uncle died, he leaves me 25 Million dollar, im rich rich i telz ya !
Now to complete the form and email back my bank details ,address etc..
Sarcasm aside and back on topic :
When you buy a "euro million " ticket on your holidays in say Switzerland, but your residence is in Belgium,France etc.. would they not cash it out as you can't prove that you live in the country the winning ticket was purchased from?
