What is the difference between C & B permit when it comes to owning a business?

What advantages does a C permit has if any, when setting up a business, organization, NGO ... ?

C permit allows you to do pretty much anything. B permit depends on whether you’re an EU or non-EU national. EU B is pretty much anything as well iirc, but non-EU tied to employer B permits means you can’t be self-employed or start a company without authorisation from the cantonal migration office. An open B permit would allow it.

In simple terms:

- Swiss nationals and C permit holders have a right to

- EU nationals have a right to, provided they can show it has economic viability

- All other need permission.

Thanks all, what about when traveling though? Some countries as for a Visa and some don't. Does a person with C permit has easier chance to travel?

No. B/C permits are a purely internal Swiss matter.
