What it means on my B permit?

Hello, I am non-eu. I had my visa tied to my employer as is the case mostly with non-eu.

A local company applied for visa it got approved. Unlimited contract. My new work permit was applied from another Kanton(e.g. Basel) but I have been residing in Zurich. The ZH kanton issued the new RP with remark “ Beschränkt auf die bewilligte Dienstleistung und die Kantone, die sie bewilligt haben”

What does it mean? Is it closed or Open? Should I check with the Kanton which approved the WP?

It means it’s a tied permit.

It's nice that they started putting this information on the permit itself. Previously the only option to find whether the permit was tied or not was to ask the cantonal labor market office.
