What type of wallet do you use + coin pouch? (Men)

In preparation for my move to Switzerland, I am looking for suggestions on men's wallets that support both carrying cards, cash and coins.

If you do not use an "all-in-one" wallet, I was wondering what you use for your "EDC" (Every day carry).

Thanks!

THE most important thing to consider when moving to a new country.

What do you use now in your home country?

Tip out all the local currency, replace with Swiss currency and use that.

There has to be space to hold at least 140K per year.

And in hot pink version.

Or maybe, deep green. Also good.

Well, the new 1000.- Banknote will have a 70 x 158 mm dimension.

You should have a wallet that can hold at least 70x79 folded 1000.- Banknote. Smaller wallets are are here in Switzerland but you should be OK with a smaller wallet. 1000.- Banknotes sometimes hard to withdraw so you will mainly store 100 and 200 notes inside...

There are coins?

Can I collect them?

Got mine from my BMW dealer. Dunno who makes it, but the quality is good. Folds out in three sections, 10 CC slots, coin pocket, 4 slide in pockets behind CC slots, emergency car key slot, double banknote section. Carried it for years, shows content imprint through the leather, but no wear.

Slim credit card wallet, cash via money clip (Which I rarely carry these days) and loose coins

Best wallet I've ever owned. Forget about coins, give them back as tips or put them in your pocket and dump them into your piggy bank every night.

Everyone in Switzerland uses one of these. Practical and doubles as sack insulation during the Winter.

Would you like any key-ring suggestions whilst we're at it? It's very important.

Simple day-to-day stuff, generic wallet. For busier days I utilize my full leather purse.

Yep, love that one too!

Money, coins, never bother carrying it, my man looks after all that

You need a slightly larger than average one as the 1000 CHF note is bigger than the 200 & smaller. denomination notes. As about 84% of Swiss currency is in 1000 notes you will get one sooner rather than later. For information a Kiosk will happily take a 1000 note when spending 10 chf or less, no one will even blink as it's in daily use.

In CH cash is still king, if you spend 20k on a car, the seller will expect cash.

Most I've paid cash was the down payment for a rustico (35k, but it was my wife's money).

Tom

You joke... and yet...

No joke intended you can pay your tax bill with cash too, they don't care as long as they get paid.

Why do you think not only the govt issues Chf 1'000.-- notes but they paln to bring a new one out next year !

You can't go wrong with one of these purses/wallets, especially if you are going to be employed in the financial sector:
