The first RC that I’ve bought by myself was a Kyosho Mini Inferno in 2005 (still have it). Before that I only had toy grade RC planes BF-109(Dynam Messerschmitt BF-109 V2 4S RC Warbird 1.3m w/ Flaps) during my childhood which I’ve got to birthdays or Christmas from my parents.

Still haven’t flown any - not even a drone. As a kid, I was always very jealous when I saw people with RC planes in the park!

Flying the RC plane is just another excuse to be outside, Enjoy the nice weather!
It was in the 90s and was an unbranded balsa wood trainer with a glow fuel engine and Futaba radio gear. The engine was temperamental and the plane always smelled of that sickly sweet fuel, which drove my mum mad because it stunk out the car. Happy days.

how BIG are these things? Is it just the way they are photographed? If not you need a “Waffenschein” for it. (Waffenschein is generally weapons, the English translations are all gun-specific).
Are jet turbines common nowadays? The smaller plane that’s hiding behind the Messerschmidt seems to demand one.
