What you up now?

I'm stuck in work since 8am.. Finished what I had to do by 9am. Been waiting on India and UK to finish their stuff before I can test and go home.

I've read the whole internet and watched everything on TV, I've even played with Firechat on the iPhone and spoke to somebody in Peurto Rico! I've taken pictures of random objects on my desk!

Considering cleaning the crumbs and toenails from my keyboard now.. Or switching it for somebody elses.

View is rubbish from the window.. I'm bored!

I am about to pull chicken, veg and potato roast from the oven and practice more piano for a forthcoming concert we gonna have. Probably check on a couple of spammers, see if Barbies clothes match and get their little shoes from nearby plantpots where they "accidentaly" hid away. Rinse swimmsuits, do a load of laundry, put dishes away from the diswasher, finish assembling a knitted sweater quick before my kids arms don't fit. Mop. Hang laundry. Go over English, French and Math homework of the little one.. Check my big amp, buttons flip, download finally gstring tuning app. Go back outside, probably nearby farm. Still have to make apple/cinammon/maple syrup pie. Edit some writing and email my phd supervisor. Call my family see if they come help for a few days, but they probably won't coz they are in the same phase of their phd...damn. Listen to some cool songs. Correct students' year projects. Check with friends abroad. Iron. Read a poem so I don't go crazy.

Ugh. I prefer the week to weekends.

Laundry on a Sunday

Sounds a bit like my Saturday.. And my Thursday since I had the day off. Although I didn't knit or play the piano, I did sort out a lot of barbie stuff!

As if by magic, my UK colleagues have finished. The end is in sight, although that means I may need to attend a kids party, hmm work/screaming kids. hmm

Screaming kids..Apero. People actually bring you food (apero food here is great, I'm just inhaling some cheddar, chicken taking too long). There are people with noisy work...hahah.I tune out. The noisiest is a club outside at night, anyways. It's supposed to rain here at 3pm I was promptly informed at the playground earlier.

Slept in. It's Sunday, after all. Walked Dirty Harry, my avatar dog. Had a nice brunch. Prepared a few things for a prolonged Ascension Day weekend in the mountains with one of my cousins (read: cooking sprees). Updated some of my Websites. Found out that one of them got hacked, which means a lot of work. Shoot.

Packed stuff for my summer on the Great Lakes, especially for our boat. Our lighthouse restoration activities on the most isolated island in Lake Michigan always need a lot of preparation. Once we're out there, we cannot just drive to a store to get something. No cars, no roads, no stores, no cell phone connection, no electricity, not even running water.

Nice weather, mostly sunny but not too warm. I'm sure Harry will soon drag me down to the lake for some doggy fun, but not before it's time for my morning call to Michigan to wake up my OH, who is waiting there for her Captain to fly in for the summer, before we both plus her dog come back to Switzerland. Yesterday she spent most of the day taking part in a garage sale with friends and made a whopping 14 bucks. I'm so proud of her

Cleaning up after the party last night, especially the grill and floors*. Trying to find a movie to watch for the night, and someone to watch it with. Will make a call to Canada to wish Happy Belated Birthday wishes. Then I'll study some languages and continue on a report on the deck with the sun and some Prosecco.

*One should not place any carbonate beverages in cocktail mixer and shake. Turns out they have a tendency to explode all over yourself/guests.

Sitting on my sunny balcony, drinking coffee and smoking a cigar.

Dogs are walked.

Might read a book later, a neighbour brought me a sack of English books.

About "*One should not place any carbonate beverages in cocktail mixer and shake. Turns out they have a tendency to explode all over yourself/guests."

One way to tell guests it is time to go home!

On the train to Chur, listening to a randomised collection of synthesizer classics, psychedelia and hurdy-gurdy music.

Well, you did ask!

Supervising the children at the pool. It's turned out a lovely day today.

preparing my next train trip.

It has turned out really nice today but it's not going to be so nice tomorrow.

Went and picked some strawberries at the local farm this morning and have been working in the garden ever since we got back.

I gotta make my head work faster, off to a run. Hope it's not gonna have the opposite effect.

finishing off a presentation I have in 24 minutes.

sending emails

falling asleep

At the time this thread was started I was probably bouncing on a trampoline at kidsmeetingpoint The first hour we were there it was just us so the only thing to do was to bounce on all the trampolines for about 25 minutes and then have a scramble through the ball pool commando-style, and practice break-falls on the mat in the baby area haha.

Not doing much yet today ! Goofing around on my daughter's laptop at this moment, it seems

Just woke up ,3:29 am, have a quick look who won the hockey game. Go back to sleep

Just dropped husband off at his 2 day retreat. Lovely drive back through parts of Thurgau. Contemplating gardening. It's a nice day so far.

I am not watching anymore... grr.

Wasting another hour or so of my otherwise valuable time scanning the English Forum.

Having a cup of tea in bed. No work today so no need to even get dressed if i dont want to!
