Where can I buy a Curry Leaf Tree

I'm wondering if anyone can help? My wife would like to grow and is looking for a Curry Leaf Tree plant.

Does anyone know where we can find one in Switzerland?

Thanks in advance.

Indoors or out in a pot or garden?

Be aware there are more and more restrictions about planting exotic species in a garden, meaning it's limited to native species. Your commune may have more restrictions and should give you a list of approved species. If you can't find it in a garden center, that may be the reason why.

For indoors or a pot, you have more freedom.

Thanks RunningDeer. It's for inside and that may well be the reason. We'll make more enquires.

I looked at buying from ebay before, don't recommend this for curry leaf plant seeds - they are only viable for a few weeks after being harvested. Dry seeds are almost impossible to get to germinate, as are seeds that were stored under 10C.

Once, when I found then from a seller in India that said they would ship fresh seeds, these got confiscated at the border (apparently it isn't legal to import curryleaf seeds from outside the EU)

Much easier to find someone who has one and clone a cutting. Alternatively, find some fresh curry leaves in store (with a branch) and propagate from that.

I've been trying to grow curry leaf plants for two years now. Sapling, seed, branch - tried it all, with ZERO success.

Hope others have more luck...

I only saw them in botanical gardens (GE, ZH, London, US..), I wonder if they would tell you. https://www.ville-ge.ch/cjb/
