Any idea where you can get proper mayonaise from, I know I could make it but I dont want to.
"proper" mayo? Gwon tell us what brand.
Helmans or similar
Same place as Browne sugar
Pleeeease make it yourself. It's SO easy, cheap and delicious. Do you have a blender?
Thanks SR, I thought of there but it means going to Zug, I was thinking more in Zurich.
.....you can order online you know?
I do know but I only want a tiny bit at a time so it will be wasted.
Take one fresh egg. Seperate to get just the yolk. Put yolk in blender. Put top on blender. Take out clear plastic bit in middle of lid. Start blender. Drizzle/drip vegetable or other thin oil into blender. Add half teaspoon of dijon mustard and salt to taste. That is mayonnaise. This entire process should take you 60 to 90 seconds. If you're used to Hellmans this will be the best mayo you've ever tasted.
Thing is as I only want one item it works out more than double the price and you must be nice to be me as I'm still in a good mood from my hols
I am never nice.
Don't make another one cry
Britshop isn't in Zug it is only an online shop (you can collect from their place near Luzern if you wish)
If you want helmans then Britshop online is the answer
I use Tomy I find it just as good
I personally use Japanese Mayo for all my needs.
Kicks the arses of any other brands any day. Easily found in the Japanese store in Zürich.
What is wrong with Thomy Classic Mayonnaise found in Migros?
It tastes fine (but then again I'm a plebe).

No really... I don't have a problem with out of the jar/tub/tin/tube mayo, but don't label it as "proper".
My Denner has Helmans from time to time.
You beat me to it, yes Denner has Hellmann's
Until you make some with out using a blender . . .
